An irate Karan confronts Prem and lays down the condition that unless Prem earns two thousand rupees a month on his own, he would not allow the marriage of his daughter with him. Rajesh (Mohnish Bahl) runs the business for his dad, Kailashnath (Alok Nath), and is an eligible bachelor. The family wants him to marry Pooja Choudhury (Renuka Shahane), to which he agrees. With great gusto the families get together to plan the engagement and marriage ceremonies.
