Arun and Vandana have a quiet wedding ceremony in the temple, and Arun leaves to re-join his duties. Unfortunately, Arun is killed, and Vandana is unable to convince anyone of her marriage with him, and as such must re-locate to hide her shame. She gives birth to a baby boy, whom she must place in an orphanage to be adopted. Unfortunately for her, the boy, Suraj, is adopted by someone else. She manages to find out their whereabouts, and gets a job as a servant. When she is about to be molested by Shyam, a relative, Suraj witnesses this, and kills him. Vandana takes the blame for this killing and is sentenced to imprisonment, leaving her son and her life behind, for a crime she did not commit. When she returns everything has changed, and she is unable to locate the family where her son was. Fantastic music and a dashing leading man aside, the main reason why Aradhana works is perhaps because of the wonderful story line and direction. Then Everything Changes When He First Sets Eyes On Heart-Achingly Beautiful New Student, Ayesha Mehra, Who Was Born In London, England, And Also Lives A Wealthy Lifestyle With Her Mom, Sheetal, And Businessman Dad. Both Rohan And Ayesha Are Attracted To Each Other And Decide To Go On A Karaoke Date - With Disastrous Results As Both End Up In A Vehicle Accident. Their Relationship Sours With Rumors Of Ayesha Being Attracted To Shantanu And Rohan Dating Simran, And Both Part Ways. "Amar Akbar Anthony - 1977 Directed By : Manmohan Desai Starring : Amitabh Bachchan, Rishi Kapoor, Vinod Khanna, Praveen Babi, Nitu Singh, Shabana Azmi, Pran , Jeevan , Nirupa Roy , Mukri , Hercules, Special Apparence-Helen, Nadira, Ranjeet & Madhumati Music Director : Laxmikant Pyarelal. Synopsis : This film set the trend of films based on the lost & found theme. A dozen odd films were made on this theme but no film succeeded the way Amar Akbar Anthony did. Pran and Nirupa Roy get separated accidentally with their three kids. The kids are adopted by persons of three different religions. One is a Hindu, the second a Muslim and the third a Christian. One boy grows up as Amar, the other as Akbar and the third as Anthony. Amar is a police officer, Akbar a tailor and Anthony, a good-for-nothing. After a series of trials and tribulations, the lost and disintegrated family re-unites. This film had good comic performance by Amitabh Bachchan and the three heroines, Shabana Azmi, Parveen Babi and Neetu Singh did good work as the soft and feminine influences on their beaus.
