"Amar Akbar Anthony - 1977 Directed By : Manmohan Desai Starring : Amitabh Bachchan, Rishi Kapoor, Vinod Khanna, Praveen Babi, Nitu Singh, Shabana Azmi, Pran , Jeevan , Nirupa Roy , Mukri , Hercules, Special Apparence-Helen, Nadira, Ranjeet & Madhumati Music Director : Laxmikant Pyarelal. Synopsis : This film set the trend of films based on the lost & found theme. A dozen odd films were made on this theme but no film succeeded the way Amar Akbar Anthony did. Pran and Nirupa Roy get separated accidentally with their three kids. The kids are adopted by persons of three different religions. One is a Hindu, the second a Muslim and the third a Christian. One boy grows up as Amar, the other as Akbar and the third as Anthony. Amar is a police officer, Akbar a tailor and Anthony, a good-for-nothing. After a series of trials and tribulations, the lost and disintegrated family re-unites. This film had good comic performance by Amitabh Bachchan and the three heroines, Shabana Azmi, Parveen Babi and Neetu Singh did good work as the soft and feminine influences on their beaus. A daring diamond heist! The loot is smuggled abroad to Dubai. The local crime syndicate in Dubai wants the loot for themselves. But the criminal masterminds have not planned for the shenanigans of Raja (Shahid Kapur), who to please his lover Tinas (Ayesha Takia) uncle, a supposed Master brain, Chaubey (Paresh Rawal), sets out to search for the diamonds. A self-styled driver (Johnny Lever), who ranks his driving skills as better than those of Schumacher, helps the trio to flee in time, only to land them in hotter water than before. Raja has no other option than to rope in Munna (Sunny Deol), a professional wrestler and his agent Luckee (Vivek Oberoi) to find the diamonds. Now with all of them caught up together, and obviously the evident brains of Chaubey where Intelligence is an understatement, this stylish robbery turns into a fun frolicking comedy.

The Worst and the Best of Bollywood
Filmfare, Indias numero uno film magazine has come out with its latest poll on Bollywoods best and the worst. Katrina Kaif may have not yet received any awrds for her acting, but this babe is sure the most wanted female celeb in Bollywood, with a staggering 40 percent votes. Far behind in the race to popularity is the ever-so perfect Bachchan bahu, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan with 18 percent of votes. Following her is Bebo, Kareena Kapoor with 14 percent of the votes. Her failure to win hearts may be due to her box office failure. She shares the spot with Priyanka Chopra. Moving on to the most wanted males in Bollywood. They may be enemies but Shah Rukh Khan and Aamir Khan share the centre stage with 25 percent of votes. Salman Khan should credit his fan following of 20 percent to Wanted. But the Bollywood Khiladi, Akshay Kumar followed closely with 19 percent of votes. In the future audience would like to see the pairing of Aamir Khan and Katrina Kaif. There are no points for guessing which couple the audience would love to see kiss on screen. After Kurbaan, the steam has not died down for Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor. The worst dressed celeb with 42 percent votes goes to Maliika Sherawat, while among the actors, Govinda was voted with 31 percent votes.
